Quality Policy

INTEGRATED QUALITY SYSTEM

The quality policy represents the basis of Koestlin’s business activity and improvement. The system’s high level quality guarantees a successful business activity and development based on the ethical relationship with the owner, customer, consumer, suppliers, employees and their associations, financial institutions, legislature and supervisory authorities and local community.

By being a member of the Sedex organization and by implementing the requirements of all adopted standards ISO 9001; HACCP, International Food Standard (IFS), British Retail Consortium (BRC), GS1 GTC and Kosher, we establish a traceable control system, which is based on risk analysis and measures, which provide a quality and health-safe product as well as successful business operations and the satisfaction of all interest groups.

SATISFIED CUSTOMER

We measure fulfillment of needs and expectations of our customers and final consumers by developing long term quality relationships. We analyze the customers’ feedback with the aim of increasing their confidence and satisfaction. This way we endeavor to keep one of two first places in production and sales of flour and confectionery products in Croatia and to present our high quality products on existing markets abroad while also conquer more new ones.

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

Company’s development and advancement on the market can only be achieved by continuous improvement of products, services and business, which include the following:

  • quality system evaluation
  • investments into production equipment and infrastructure
  • constant education and training of employees
  • team work that comprises know-how and creates friendly working environment
  • participation in tenders of investment funds

QUALITY AND HEALTHY PRODUCTS

All products, raw materials, packaging material and reproductive materials have requirements set out by legal regulations in The Republic of Croatia and all the countries we do business with, which is confirmed by manufacturers’ specifications. The quality and healthy products are ensured by:

  • implementing of precise requirements adopted by HACCP, IFS and BRC Standards in all processes phases
  • prescribed activities at all stages of the process whose owners are aware of their authorizations and responsibilities
  • applying control measures along the whole products chain, from raw materials to customers
  • doing business with approved suppliers
  • maintaining high level of hygiene at working environment, among employees and equipment
  • insisting on personal responsibility of an individual

SAFETY

The safety of each employee and all the equipment, and above all the safety of the whole community, is the constant concern of the management and of all the employees. By implementing safety measures during the product’s entire production process and the factory’s location, Koestlin provides protection of food from intentional contamination. Possible incident situations are recognized and the prevention is thereof implemented through preventive activities, exercises and education.

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION

Production and realization of products use ecologically acceptable materials and procedures. Constant attention is directed towards rational usage of energy and other natural resources. By membership and participation in the global initiative for sustainable palm oil, we show care for the environment. / Development of ecological awareness, active inclusion of employees and cooperation with the local community and all interested parties, Koestlin Plc. contributes to the environment protection.

By implementing quality policy Koestlin Management Board wishes to stress its dedication to meeting all the customers’ requirements and production of high quality and health-safe product, and implementing and improving of the above mentioned regulations are a must for all employees.
